The Top Rated 4K Televisions

Move over HDTV because there’s a new star on the home entertainment block: the 4K TV!

4K technology boasts a resolution of 8 million (or 3,840 x 2,160) total pixels, which is four times more than any HDTV. Thanks to the enormous pixelation, TV viewers of 4K will get crisp screen clarity, better depth, image rendering, and color resolution that is especially impressive on large flat screen surfaces or 65-inches or larger.

Let’s take a gander at the top rated 4K televisions currently on the market:

1. Sony A9G Master Series OLED
Sony delivers best in show with the A9G Master Series OLED model that most 4K fans dream of. At first glance the OLED screen will grab you with its superior picture quality delivered thanks to cutting edge IMAX enhancement, Netflix calibration, and  Dolby Atmos and Vision support, all wrapped in a classic yet chic minimalist design. Plus the vibrating sound system is just cool, immersing you in a total TV watching experience. The downside is it’s super pricey!

2. LG C9 OLED Series
Not only has the 2019 model earned the title of “Smartest 4K TV pn Earth”,  you’ll be hard pressed to find a 4K television that’s equal parts brain (an Alpha 9 processor that uses AI) and beauty (superb HDR and SLR image and detail processing) on one single 4K television. Consistently dubbed among the top 4K TVs on the market, the LG C9 OLED Series boasts AI driven processing, upscaling, sound, and alalization in real time.

3. Vizio P-Series Quantum X

To top it all off, this television is among the most affordable in this price range. Yet there are downsides to this 4K television. Among the biggest complaints are rather weak 10W speakers and some viewers say when the TV is in vivid mode it can be blinding.

4. Samsung Q90R QLED
A fan favorite among 4K devotees, the Samsung Q90R QLED television with super clear, beautifully rendered images as far as superior detailing, color, shadowing, and depth. A lot of this is thanks to a feature known as the Ultra Black Elite filter, which spurs ambient light to showcase deep black images minus very little shadowy blurring. Despite its impressive viewing experience, the only criticism of the Samsung Q90R QLED is the lack of support for Dolby Vision, which as you know delivers stunning images that meet the capabilities of specific TV models.
